honeymoon, asks her to be his best man at his wedding. Shirley is not
sure of he has changed or is lying to his bride to be, Missy. Ryan
Myerson helped euthanize his wife after she got Alzheimer's. When his
lawyer recommends he plead to manslaughter because he can't win the
trial, he wants Alan to take over. After 7 years of not speaking, Paul

Alan represents Joan Rubin in her case against her employer who asserts
his employees should not smoke cigarettes in the privacy of their homes
in order for his business to save on health insurance. Denny makes a
commitment to Bev, then feels uneasy over her manipulations. The
partners discuss Denny's personal expenses charges to the firm.
From ABC: Within three hours of getting married, Denny Crane is caught
with another woman and Bev Bridges (Joanna Cassidy) demands an annulment
and 50% of her brand new husband’s worth. While the attorneys from
Crane, Poole & Schmidt frantically rally around their colleague to
rescue him, Bev hires the slick, handsome divorce lawyer Eli Granger
(Corbin Bernsen) to represent her. Meanwhile, Alan Shore defends Joan
Zeder (Nicole Sullivan), who was fired from her job after being unable

In the face of Lori Colson's sexual harassment lawsuit against Denny
Crane, Shirley Schmidt and Paul Lewiston consult Meredith Waters,
whose nickname is "The Sex Police", and take unusual measures to
keep the problem from becoming public and ruining the firm. Meredith
suggests they try a radical approach and find someone to harass
Denny. Meanwhile, in hopes of convincing Chelina Hall not to
move back to Texas, Alan Shore asks her to serve as second chair in
a racially charged case; and as the tension between Shore and
Chelina grows, so do Tara's suspicions. But Tara insists she and
Alan are doing fine when Lori seems suspicious of his involvement
with Chelina.
